Tin Nghia maintained the 2nd position in coffee export in Vietnam Posted Date: 17/10/2016
Mr Quach Van Duc – General Director of Tin Nghia Corporation informed that coffee export is currently one of the four core businesses of the company. Beside of collecting domestic raw coffee beans for export, Tin Nghia also invested in growing Arabica coffee (high quality coffee) with the area of around 500ha and some crops were ready to be harvested.

As planned, Tin Nghia invested in growing 3 thousand ha of coffee in Laos and at the same time, invested in a coffee process manufactory using wet manufacturing technology, which increases the quality of raw coffee beans. Beside of coffee beans export, Tin Nghia is currently investing in powdered coffee manufacturing with a brand called Scafe’ for domestic and foreign markets.
After the yearly coffee season of 2015 – 2016, which ended on September 30th, Tin Nghia Corp exported 130 thousand tons of coffee with over 200 million USD of turnover, which were the highest values of both the productivity and revenue in the past 20 years of coffee export. With such result, Tin Nghia maintained the 2nd place in domestic coffee export.
Next yearly season of 2016 – 2017, Tin Nghia targets to export 150 thousand tons of coffee with about 270 million USD of turnover.
