“Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety” Launched

With the theme “Manufacturing and Trading in Food in Accordance with Law on Food Hygiene and Safety”, the Provincial Steering Board of the “Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety” held the launching ceremony of the 2011 “Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety” on May 15 at the Center for Conference and Event Organizing.

Big C supermarket responded to the 2010 “Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety.”

    The objective of the Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety is to continue and foster the role and responsibility of enterprises in implementing law on food safety; strengthen the monitoring role of managers and consumers in executing the law in each individual, food processing factory and trader.

    The action month aims to mobilize all people, authorities and managers to get involved in popularization of Law on Food Hygiene and Safety and related provisions. In addition, it also intends to enhance inspection on manufacturing, processing and trading facilities, reducing food poisoning and food-related infectious diseases.
