Department of Health Holds the Conference Introducing Circular No. 18 on Guidelines to Bacterial Contamination Control in Medical Establishments

On December 23, 2009 morning, in Dong Nai Pediatric Hospital, Department of health held the conference to disseminate Circular No. 18/2009/TT-BYT dated November 14, 2009 on guidelines to bacterial contamination control in medical establishments.

    At the conference, Doctor Huynh Minh Hoan, Vice Director of Department of Health introduced in summary the circular. The conference also approved the report evaluating achievements in the control over bacterial contamination in hospital since 2006. Accordingly, bacterial contamination had been drawn attention from the medical establishments, 57.14% of which constantly held training course on antibacterial contamination for their staff.

    Doctor Huynh Minh Hoan said that in order to reduce bacterial contamination in hospitals and better improve medical service quality; the medical establishments need to disseminate the circular by Ministry of Health for hospital employees and fully apply regulations stated in the circular.
