Dengue Fever on the Rise

The Provincial Center for Preventive Medicine says the province has found 1,447 cases of dengue fever, including three deaths due to the disease since earlier 2011 now.

Dr. Nguyen Le Da Ha, Director of Dong Nai Children’s Hospital says, each day the hospital receives about two or three cases of dengue fever, showing signs of increase. The Center for Preventive Medicine warns that the rainy season is just beginning to peak periods, enabling the dengue fever to outbreak. Therefore the medical agencies, all the people and homes should take precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic.
