First six months of 2009: Nearly 13,600 trainees to enroll in vocational training classes

According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, it’s estimated that vocational training places and enterprises in the province has attracted nearly 13,600 trainees in first six months, making up 23.8% of the plan in 2009 and 67.9% against the same time in 2008. Among these, the number of people who registered at vocational training places is 7,600, and enterprises have trained 6,000 ones.

There have been 12,500 trainees
graduating from vocational training courses, including 129 vocational diplomas,
60 certificates and more than 4,500 primary certificates. Government-funded
people to be trained include military service leavers, rural labors, the
disable, people whose land are confiscated.
Up to May, 2009, the whole
province has had 67 vocational training places, up 7 ones against May, 2008.
Among these, there are 45 local ones, 3 central-based ones, 4 private schools
and 14 others.
