Dong Nai plans to convert 17 kindergartens, secondary schools, semi-public high schools into public form

On June 2 morning, Ms Huynh Thi Nga, Vice-chairwoman of the People’s Committee, presided a meeting with departments and sectors to complete the project on converting semi-public schools in the province into public school form which will be submitted to the People’s Council at the meeting next July.

According to the project, there
will be 17 semi-public schools converted into public school form, including one
kindergarten, 10 secondary schools and 6 high schools. Especially, Thanh Binh
semi-public kindergarten (Bien Hoa City) and Nguyen Dinh Chieu semi-public high
school (Long Thanh District) will be changed into private schools.
At the meeting, participants
agreed semi-public school system conversion to ensure a proper form regulated by
educational laws, and to ensure facilities and benefits for students and
teachers. To conclude, Ms Huynh Thi Nga suggested that related departments and
sectors keep contributing ideas to the project.
