English Contest Final Round for Children 2010

On July 25, the Provincial Children’s House in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology held the final round of English contest 2010 for children. This year’s contest has attracted 257 primary and secondary school contestants of 11 districts and cities.

of Examiners picked out 36 highest-scored candidates for the final round which
included such contents as presentation, listening, speaking, reading
comprehension, and multiple-choice knowledge.

As a result, the first prize of
primary school level was given to Le Hoang Minh Son of Tran Quoc Tuan School (Bien
Hoa City) and the second to Pham Tuan Dat of Trinh Hoa Duc School (Bien Hoa
City).
For the secondary school level,
the first prize was awarded to Vo Quoc Si of Thanh Phu School (Vinh Cuu
District) and the second to Bui Hoang Tri Nhan of Le Loi School (Bien Hoa City).
The contest is part of the
“talent-cultivation” plan in the human resources training project for the
province’s socio-economic development in the 2006-2010-1020 period.
