Dong Nai Center of Disabled Children starts the new school year

On September 7 morning, teachers and pupils of Dong Nai Center of Disabled Children merrily begin the new school year 2009-2010. This year the center maintains 19 classes, 14 of which are primary school classes and 5 secondary school continuation classes, with the total number of over 160 blind and deaf pupils.

In the 2008-2009 academic year, 100 percent of pupils
completed primary school program and graduated from
continuation secondary school, and 86 percent of those got promotion. On this
occasion, Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association gave 25 scholarships, each
worth VND450,000, to 25 poor but excellent pupils. Besides, donors offered some
scholarships and other presents.
