19 pupils in Bien Hoa City to be awarded “Giving Strength To Students” Scholarships

On November 25 afternoon, Dong Nai Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin held the “Giving Strength to Students” scholarship awarding ceremony for 19 students who are studying in Bien Hoa City-based schools.

Students taking scholarships of
the “Giving Strength to Students” program are children of victims of Agent
Orange in the city, with each worth VND1 million, and they will receive these
scholarships till the end of their 12th grade. This amount of money is extracted
from the fund to be contributed by teaching staff and students in the whole
education sector of Dong Nai Province. As known, the scholarship awarding
program held by Dong Nai Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in
coordination with the Department of Education and Training aims at giving
children of Agent Orange victims more conditions and joys to try studying, and
it continues to be carried out in all the districts and town in the 2009-2010
academic year with a total of 228 scholarships.
