Monitoring the socialization of vocational training by Provincial People’s Council

On November 11 morning, the Social and Cultural Board of the Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on the socialization of vocational training in the province.

According to report of the
Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, till October 2009, the whole
province has 50 private vocational training foundations. In 2009, these
foundations had 33,044 new trainees registered (accounting for 59.1%), 31,259 of
whom graduated from non-public vocational schools. Thus, till now, the
socialization of vocational training obtains 73.5% of the plan in accordance
with the Resolution 99/2007 of the Provincial People’s Council (the whole
province has 68 non-public vocational training foundations till the end of
2010).
Addressing at the working
session, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Social and Cultural Board of the
Provincial People’s Council requested that it’s necessary to keep promoting and
establishing vocational education programs to propagate and change students’
awareness, building preferential policies on credit loan, encouraging
private-based investment and training to develop traditional trades which are
suitable for local areas.
