Speed up progress of site clearance work for National Highway 51 extension project

On November 18 afternoon, the provincial People’s Committee had a meeting with Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Development Joint Stock Company (BVEC) on situation of site clearance, resettlement, traffic safety for National Highway no. 51 extension project. Attending and chairing the meeting were Vice-Chairmen of the provincial People’ Committee

According to report of the investor, for the time being, the project has been finished with works including clearance inventory and map of actual situation survey. BVEC inventoried some basic works, including expansion of drain, overpass, expansion of lane and intersections. Moving optical fiber and telecom cable basically keep up with progress of construction. However, BVEC also says that, site clearance work has encountered some difficulties for some households in some such communes of Bien Hoa city as Tam Hoa, Tam Phuoc, Phuoc Tan ones in Long Thanh district like An Phuoc, Long An, etc. have prevented units from deploying construction.
Addressing the meeting, Vice-Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai requested BVEC should have a plan to cooperate closely with local units, Long Thanh Power and Dong Nai Water Supply One Member Limited Company to fulfill site clearance work and removal of technical infrastructure, and speed up progress of site clearance work in order to construct on schedule.
