Discussion on the construction process of Dong Nai General Hospital

On the morning of May 13, 2009, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai presided a meeting held by the Steering Committee of Dong Nai General Hospital to discuss the construction process of Dong Nai General Hospital by May 8, 2009.

The Steering Committee of Dong Nai General Hospital reported that the construction process of Dong Nai General Hospital by May 8, 2009 has gained some results: 281/507 uncased piles was built (accounting for 55%); holding the tender for the second time, submitting the construction project involving auger-cast piles to the Ministry of Construction and chose National General Construction Company (NAGECCO) as an investment consultant; the design phase was finished and approved in April 2009; the Hospital met 4 foreign investors to discuss facilities for new hospital and plans to choose the most competent contractor.

 

Meeting’s view

 

 As for the second phrase construction, the Hospital signed a contract with Investment and Consulting Enterprise of Dong Nai Development and Investment Fund on consulting the plan for the second phrase construction. As for construction procedures, Tin Nghia One Member Limited Company is now completing some tasks related to marking and measurement, and some documents on land transfer, as well as submitting the plan to Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment for approval. Ho Ngoc Thu, Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment, said that the capital disbursement pace of the project was still slow and needs to be boosted in the upcoming time.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai concluded that according to the report on the construction process of Dong Nai General Hospital in the past time, the contractor has made great efforts to complete the plan with high effectiveness. He added that it is necessary to more focus on the supervision for construction work execution in the coming time.
