More than twenty contestants are in group B of “Wards and Communes’ Leaders of Excellence in Information Technology Application” contest

Competitions of Group B of the seventh contest held by Department of Science and Technology took place in December 4th and 5th in Lac Hong University and the department.

 

Contestants are very attentive in practice test

More than 22 contestants are secretaries, deputy secretaries of part committees, chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of people’s councils and people’s committees of wards and communes in the province and have participated and won in the previous contests. The contest includes two rounds. The first round was practice test in 120 minutes in which contestants had to display their basic knowledge about computer applications for office and ability to use internet.   

Finishing the first round, contestants with highest scores continued to join the second round that were giving lectures and directly answering judges about awareness and information technology application capability of ward and commune level in fifteen minutes. The judges then gave scores, based on content, presentation ability, and their answers for questions that judges had given.

Concluding the contest, the organization awarded one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes.
