At the meeting, Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Sang presented briefly the program to support enterprises in enhancing competitive capacity, applying advanced management system and protecting intelligence property in 2011-2015 period.
For the program, objective of the productivity and quality project of Dong Nai province in 2003-2015 period is to establish movement of extensive productivity in the whole province, contributing to reach economic development objective of the province with high speed, efficiency and stability, bringing into play every resource, creating a breakthrough in quality and raising soci-economic growth rate of localities.
The project have been carried out since 2006, with two phases: conducting a survey of real situation and develop programs of the project in 2006-2008 period and deploying projects, creating premise to carry out productivity and quality program in localities in 2008-2010 period with basic programs such as programs to support organizations and enterprises across the province in building and applying advanced management systems; promote standardization; improve quality to facilitate global economic integration process of the province; develop intellectual asset of enterprises; support enterprises in boosting research, investing technological renovation and carry out technology transfer and energy saving.
At the meeting, a majority of representatives agreed that, implementation of productivity and quality project in 2006-2015 is sentential and vital for socio-economic development.
In conclusion, Vice-Chairman Vo Van Mot also emphasized that, to continue to implement well the project in the coming time, Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology should cooperate with related departments, sectors and branches to examine, re-evaluate project objectives and carefully prepare categories that are needed to conduct and identify clearly subjects that are needed to support and avoid spreading that cause lower efficiency. When projects are carried out effectively in certain units, if necessary, these models of support will be multiplied in other ones.
