According to the report of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, in 2008, all scientific and technological information stations offered people 490 scientific and technological films about agricultural production and rural life and 446 scientific, technical and technological documents (also known as rural technology)

Besides, websites of communes are frequently updated
with information in markets of agricultural products, weather of epidemic
diseases and experience in scientific and technological
application into production. In the year, there were
4,496 news-letters and articles edited and updated on websites of stations by
information stations.
As known, in 2004, Dong Nai
Department of Science and Technology carried out the project “Models
for offering scientific and technological information to serve economic and
social development in districts located in Dong Nai province”, and instantly 12
scientific and technological information stations were established and came into
cooperation. In 2008, approved by the People’s Committee, DOST had expanded this
model at 44 community learning centers. There are now 56 scientific and
technological information stations in the whole province.
