The United States is the largest export surplus market

According to the Department
of Industry and Trade, in the first five months of 2022, businesses in Dong Nai
Province exported nearly US$3.5 billion to the US market, up 21% over the same
period last year and accounting for 32% of the total export turnover of the
province.

The major goods that Dong Nai exports to the U.S.
market are footwear; wood and wood products; machinery, equipment, tools and
spare parts; textile; Products from iron and steel.
Particularly in May, 2022, Dong Nai's export turnover
to the U.S. reached US$780 million,
up 26% over the same period in 2021. In which, the leading position was
footwear of all kinds with US$214 million;
wood and wood products valued US$142 million;
machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts valued US$69 million; textile and garment valued US$64 million, etc. Currently, the U.S. is the province's
largest export market and the trade balance is towards Dong Nai with a trade
surplus of over US$3 billion. In
addition, Dong Nai enterprises also import many products from the United States
as raw materials for production such as cotton, corn, raw materials for the
production of animal feed, machinery and equipment, and chemicals.
