Deputy Head of the Standing Commission for Propaganda and Education at Dong Nai
Party Committee Nguyen Van Long said in the first half of 2011 thanks to
adhering to the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee’s directions and
the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education’s guidelines, Dong Nai
Propaganda and Education played its active and good role as a counselor as
follows:
- Assisting and counseling levels
of Party Committees on how to disseminate the results of the 11th National Party
Congress and of the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress, and the election of deputies
into the 13th National Assembly and into levels of People's Councils in
2011-2016 period to people.
- Counseling levels of Party
Committee on making plans, offering courses to help Party members fully grasp
and implement the 11th National Party Congress’ resolutions, the 9th Dong Nai
Party Congress’ resolutions and plans, and keeping promoting the studying and
following the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh.
- Assisting levels of Party
Committees in conducting inspection, making pre-summation and summation reports,
and reporting on the results of Dong Nai Party Committee’s action programs.
- Counseling levels of Party
Committee and local authorities on making plans, giving directions and
guidelines, and monitoring the activities to celebrate great holidays in 2011.
Besides, Dong Nai Propaganda and
Education takes initiative to finish regular work in all fields as planned.
Having gone with educational
promotion, Propaganda and Education has made great contributions to shaping and
stabilizing ideas, creating a consensus of public opinions, raising political
awareness, and strengthening staff and Party members’ confidence to reach the
province’s socio-economic targets.
Also, affairs concerning
propaganda, political education, fine arts, culture, music performance,
journalism, science, data collection, and research have achieved some remarkable
results.
At the meeting, participants
contributed ideas that revolve around idea shaping and social mood at localities
and units and made some proposals regarding local propaganda and
education-related operations
The meeting identified major
tasks concerning propaganda and education in the second half of 2011 as follows:
- Giving propaganda guidelines on
celebrating great holidays.
- Advertising the products of a
“History of special relationships between Vietnam and Laos” project.
- Giving advice and directing the
work of propaganda under the guidance of the Central Committee for Propaganda
and Education and of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee.
- Counseling Dong Nai Party
Committee on projects fighting with incorrect information and inappropriate and
hostile viewpoints.
- Giving advice on contents
concerning studying and following the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh.
- Organizing sessions of
collecting public opinions.
