The
whole view of the ceremony |
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Standing
Party Committee delivered a speech on the occasion of the National Day,
September 2 and the 40th anniversary of “Follow Uncle Ho’s Testament” Day.
Through 64 years of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist
Republic of Vietnam) and 40 years of following Uncle Ho’s Testament, Dong Nai
Party, Army and People have made an enormous contribution to the victory of the
national revolution and followed his immortal testament. Dong Nai didn’t have a
chance to receive Uncle Ho's visit but its Party, Army and People always keep
his image close to them, promote the arduous but heroic tradition of the Eastern
Vietnam and go through hardships in wartime as well as in peacetime – a time to
build the country. Dong Nai Party and People can be proud of their remarkable
achievements. What is notable is that the economy maintains a continued high and
steady growth, that there is a close connection between economic growth and
social justice, that defense and security are beefed up and that the power of
people’s solidarity bloc is developed. Those are prerequisites for Dong Nai to
accelerate its socio-economic development and strive to become a modern
industrial province.
Currently, all the Party and people are continuing the campaign “Study and
Follow President Ho Chi Minh’s Ethical Example”. Dramatic changes in the
awareness of each staff and each member of the Party have been made and many
good methods of following Uncle Ho’s example have been devised for over two
years. Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Le Hong Phuong stressed that Dong Nai Party
and People would continue their focus on the encouragement to learn President Ho
Chi Minh’s qualities, ethics and styles and on the campaign “Study and Follow
President Ho Chi Minh’s Ethical Example. Particularly, it is necessary to focus
on “Follow” and “Set A Good Example” for greater changes in building the Party,
follow the teachings of Uncle Ho about training the next revolutionary
generations, timely provide support for the beneficiaries of government policies
and for the poor, strengthen poverty reduction program, improve people’s
material and spiritual life, continue pursuing the government line on foreign
policies, independence, sovereignty, peace, cooperation and development with the
whole country.

55%, over 33% and approximately 12% respectively. In addition, its income per
capita increases from VND2 million in 1995 to VND15 million in 2008. Nhon Trach

hectares. These industrial areas have attracted nearly 330 investment projects
with a total capital of US$6.44 billion. Currently, more than 200 projects have
come into operation and provided employment for over 50,000 laborers.
Educationally, Nhon Trach has completed the first stage of building
concrete-made schools and ceased the operation of shanty schools and classes
which are held in three shifts due to a shortage of classrooms. Teachers of all
school levels have been standardized and 100% of medical stations are built to
the standards of the Ministry of Health and they all have doctors to serve
people‘s medical examination and treatment. The work of hunger elimination and
