Early spring meeting with businesses

On February 6, leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, Ministry of Finance and General Department of Taxation and economic experts worked with more than 250 businesses across the province, with a focus on sharing information to help businesses overcome obstacles and challenges in 2009 in this early spring meeting at Buu Long Tourist Attraction.

At the meeting, the leaders of the province,
ministries and sectors listened to the businesses’ feelings and desires in the
current economic recession. Tran Du Lich – doctor and an expert in economics
shared lasted information and forecasts about the economic condition in 2009 and
some ways for businesses to adjust themselves to cope with the coming
difficulties. The businesses also discussed with the leaders the “economic
stimulate package” like policy to compensate interest and take out loans,
policy to vouch for businesses to take out loans to renew their technology,
conditions that business supporting solutions can be accessed and so on. Others
matters like exemption, reduction of corporate income tax were also concerned by
businesses.
