Exhibition of books and newspapers about President Ho Chi Minh in
Dong Nai Library |
1,000 expected
guests including heroic Vietnamese mothers, Dong Nai Standing Committee over
terms in office, the Executive Board of Dong Nai Party Committee (8th term),
Vietnam Veterans Association and the people are invited.
After the
ritual of incense burning in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh and
predecessors, ceremony participants will reminisce about his life, career and
enormous devotion to Vietnam revolution. On this occasion, the Steering
Committee of the “Study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example”
campaign reported on achievements, honoring twenty winners in the second phase
of the contest to write about those who study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s
ethical examples and initiating the third phase.
At the
ceremony, participants will enjoy a special music performance called “Uncle Ho -
Immense Love”.
*On the
morning of May 19, on the occasion of his 120th birthday Dong Nai People’s
Committee and Bien Hoa Municipal Authorities held tree-planting ceremony 2010 to
show eternal gratitude towards him in Bien Hoa plantation (in Bien Hoa city). At
the ceremony, participants planted 416 seedlings on a two-hectare area.
*Dong Nai
Museum will open an exhibition to have 120 photos and materials about President
Ho Chi Minh’s Life and Works such as: Ban An Che Do Thuc Dan Phap, Nhat Ky Trong
Tu, Duong Cach Menh and so on exhibited at Tran Bien Temple of Literature.
*On May 18,
Dong Nai Library opened the “President Ho Chi Minh – Vietnamese Hero of National
Liberation and Great Man of Culture” exhibition. 1,380 titles of books, nearly
400 pieces of newspapers and magazines and 100 pictures about six themes:
President Ho Chi Minh and National Liberation, President Ho Chi Minh and Great
National Unity, President Ho Chi Minh and the South, President Ho Chi Minh in
the Heart of People in the World, President Ho Chi Minh and the Building of a
Strong and Clean Party – Morality and Civilization, Study and Follow President
Ho Chi Minh’s Ethical Example were on exhibit.
The exhibition
is expected to last until May 25.
