For the time being, the e-news pages of the southern provinces and cities – Ho
Chi Minh, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ben Tre and Khanh Hoa – have been established
and are operating quite effectively. Until now 350,000 people have visited Dong
Nai e-news page (at
http://congbao.dongnai.gov.vn) though the page just began its test run on
the Internet on May 11, 2009. An average of 6,000 people visits the page every
day. There were days when the number of visitors amounted to 10,000 people. Up
to now, Dong Nai e-news page has helped automate three quarters of document
taking and processing system of the public newspaper center. Thanks to e-news
page software, the printing is done quickly and easily. Besides, text
arrangements are also automated, resulting in a high rate of correctness. In
addition, the e-news software allows saving published documents in a print and
electronic form scientifically, which makes searching for and checking published
documents quicker and more convenient.
At the meeting, a lot of delegates suggested upgrading the software because the
software does not allow extracting the appendix of published documents for
printing. So, to make a public newspaper book, it requires manual actions, which
cost a lot of time.
