“Dong Nai needs to continue open policies to attract foreign investment”, says Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nguyen Thanh Son

On the morning of June 2, the delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs paid a working visit to Dong Nai. Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, Dinh Quoc Thai, had a working session with the delegation.

In his working
session, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nguyen Thanh Son said that
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' policies to develop cooperative and economic relations with
regional nations encourage provincial
authorities to foster their foreign affairs relations and to obtain information
in order that they would be able to set directions for cooperation expansion in
all aspects. Son added that Dong Nai with development potentials always pays
attention to cultural and economic diplomacy and aims at having its products and
brand names publicized. He suggested that Dong Nai continue its open policies to
attract foreign investment and especially call for overseas Vietnameses to join
socio-economic development activities. He pledged that the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs would facilitate foreign affairs officers’ work and provide them with
assistance in improving their professional skills and abilities with the aim of
satisfying increasingly high social needs.
The same day,
the delegation visited a number of historical and cultural sites, manufacturers
and businesses in Dong Nai: Tran Bien Temple of Literature, Buu Phong Temple,
Amata Industrial Park, Dong Nai Export Agricultural-product Processing Company
and Cat Tien National Park.
