Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong pays a visit to Dong Nai and extends new year wishes

On his visit to extend wishes of the Tiger Year 2010 to the authorities of the provinces in the South East region of Vietnam, Mr. Truong Vinh Trong – Member of the Politburo and Deputy Prime Minister paid a visit to Dong Nai and extended his wishes. Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh – Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People's Council, Mr. Le Hong Phuong – Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Standing Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai, Mr. Vo Van Mot – Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, members of Dong Nai Standing Party Committee and Bien Hoa Municipal leadership met with and had a working session with the Prime Minister on the morning of February 16 (or the third day of the first lunar month).

During the working session, Mr. Vo Van Mot reported to Deputy Prime Minister on
the implementation results of 2009 targets and tasks and on 2010 tasks and
solutions. Particularly, the Party of Dong Nai defined its two central tasks in
2010: focus all efforts on direction and implementation of targets set in the
Resolution of the 8th provincial Party Congress and hold a successful Party
Congress at all levels, aiming for the 9th Party Congress in the 2010-2015
period.

Deputy Prime Minister commended Dong Nai for its last-year achievements and
agreed upon its 2010 tasks, targets and solutions. Trong noted that to reach its
targets Dong Nai’s Party, local authorities, Fatherland Front Committees and
unions are required to unite with all their heart and be more determined. He
added that Dong Nai’s Party and local authorities should focus on three points:
pay attention to training and improving the quality of human resources serving
its stable socio-economic development; attempt to fully deal with complaints and
denunciations; aim at the construction of the Party, including the building of a
team of both decisive and professional officers and nominating good and
qualified officers trusted by the people as members of the Party Executive
Committee at all levels.

Within the framework of his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong
attended the ritual to burn incense and offer new year flowers to teachers at
Tran Bien Temple of Literature and extended his wishes to Mr. Phan Van Trang –
the former Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee, the family of the People's
Armed Force Hero – Colonel Tran Cong An, the family of the Senior Lieutenant
Colonel Pham Hanh Phuc and the family of the Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi
Hai in Bien Hoa city.
