Powered Parachute Club opens

On the morning of August 1, the Air Force Division 370 officially declared open the Powered Parachute Club of the southern provinces at the base of Regiment 935 in Bien Hoa airport.

The
organization board says that on the one hand, powered parachute is a sport for
competition, tourism development and air search and rescue and that on the other
hand, this sport will offer those who love it and young people a chance to
acquire the knowledge of national defense and aviation and to stimulate their
passion and creativity for designing and building manned flying models, which
serves the building and protection of the country.
It is expected
that the Powered Parachute Club of the Southern provinces will enroll students
in November, 2009. On the opening day of the Powered Parachute Club of the
southern provinces, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee – Vo Van Mot
attended the ceremony and extended his congratulations to the club.
